Never had it better!

1. Reading the kind of books I like to read.
2. Plenty of time to think about everything.
3. Many ppl are convinced with my business idea. Had a meeting with the marketing prof., he agreed that it may be big three years down the line.
4. Started running again today.
5. Personal life is a lot more settled!

Thoughts of a wandering mind...

Note: Read only if you are killing time

Mid terms are over, campus is overflowing with booze, network games and loud music. Don't know why some people are so happy about completing one-half of one trimester out of six ... Probably I can never appreciate how much effort some others put during exams.

Went to Calicut today to book my ticket for tomorrows journey to Bangalore, I'm flying to Delhi from there for the weekend. This un-planned sortie to Dilli has put me back by a fairly handsome amount but I think I needed it badly enough.

That apart, but for the occasional jog from the bottom of the hill, I've been more or less perched on the hilltop-campus for the past one month or so. And the tranquility of the campus has rubbed in so much that I found Calicut congested, polluted and stifling. Don't know how will I feel when I first get to Bangalore tomorrow and then to Delhi the day after! I just hope that I don't start abhoring living in a city after spending two years here.

The journey back from Calicut was fairly eventful as I lost my way and which I only discovered once I was 8 kilometres off the track. It proved to be a blessing in disguise, I got a chance to see the beautiful countryside once again. The more of it I see, the more I fall in love with it. Will try and post some pictures the next time.

Also, coming back, one narrow winding road on a hill caught my fancy. Following my instinct I took that road hoping to get a panoramic view from the hill-top. The gradient was fairly steep but my excitement was also building up in the same proportion. To my utter dismay, there was a loom at the top and the hill-top was enclosed by walls all around. Getting down, I realized that the slope was way too much for comfort. Easily the most heart stopping few seconds of my life as yours truly and a friend were getting down on a bike. All joy-rides that I've ever taken pale in comparison.

Still trying to find an orientation for my life! Have been looking at retailing & e-tailing of late and quite excited by the prospects in it. If anyone who is working in these areas is reading this blog, plz drop a line at pruthi[-at-]gmail[-dot-]com, need someone to discuss a couple of things with. And even better if some VC is reading this! (~I know its wishful thinking considering the note above~).

A couple of friends would be interested in this, Out of the three different IIM T-shirts that have been on sale, I haven't bought any. I hope I can prove what I've maintained all along. Also wishing the best of luck for !EDITED.. not the right time yet!

Uphill from here...

Just had a management accounting exam. After the dismal QM, screwed up MA big time. Its going to be very difficult for me to even get average grades in these two from now on.
Really struggling to find my feet at the moment,
Seeking encouragement :-(
